Food & Drinks

No alcohol or glass to be brought into the venue. There will be local hot food vendors catering for all tastes. The Music & Beer Festival is funded by local business sponsors and the sale of alcohol. We are putting together a great event for the community to enjoy and keeping the cost of entry low therefore you are not allowed to bring alcohol into the venue (you may be searched on entry), after all this is a beer Festival! Bar prices will be very reasonable for example ONLY £3.50 per pint, so please support us in purchasing a drink at the Bar then we can afford to improve year on year.

Bar Selection

There will be a wide selection of different real ales & ciders to enjoy and we have tasting notes for each in the main programme. To complement the Beer Festival we will have the usual Lagers, Bitters, Ciders, Guinness all on draught with alcopops, spirits, wines and a full range of soft drinks available. We will be asking proof of age to anyone who appears under the age of 25 asking to purchase alcohol.

Are Dogs Allowed?

No, I'm afraid we don't allow dogs into the venue with the exception to guide dogs

Disabled information

We assume that, whereas the disabled person might want to come to The Music & Beer Festival, the carer may not and so we give the carer a free entry wristband. We do not send out carer wristbands. The disabled person must purchase a wristband as normal and at the main gate they must present proof of disability when asking for the free carer wristband.
Unless you are on the Festival Republic access database, we require supporting documentation as evidence of any specific requirements you require in advance please click here for our contact page.
This information helps us plan to meet your access requirements and is mandatory. Please bring with you one of the following when attending our festival;

  • DLA/PIP or equivalent
  • Medical professional's letter
  • D/deaf or blind registration
  • The Access Card or equivalent
  • Blue badge, not sufficient if applying for a PA/Carer ticket but adequate for parking only
  • Upon this evidence we will then issue a free carer wristband. This is limited to festival entry for disabled persons over the age of 16.

    Free parking is available for all disabled persons but on arrival please let the stewards know that you require a disabled parking space and they will direct you to the designated parking area. Almost all the site has good disabled access including the beer tent & VIP area. Disabled toilet facilities are available at the festival positioned near the beer tent. A separate viewing area for the disabled will be available at the front of the stage.
